Like PRP, recent scientific literature supports the use of adipose-derived stem cells to help enhance hair growth from weak hair follicles.Īdipose derived stem cell treatments can be used as a stand-alone treatment or in conjunction with other therapies for hair regrowth like PRP, laser therapy, medications, as well as hair transplantation. This biocellular regenerative treatment can be used with PRP or Platelet Rich Plasma. A simple, sterile, closed-system process is used to separate and obtain the autologous cSVF or cellular stromal vascular fraction, which contains these powerful regenerative stem and stromal cells, progenitor cells, growth factors and many other powerful biologic components. This adipose or fat tissue contains large numbers of MSCs Mesenchymal Stem Cells which are located within the SVF or Stromal Vascular Fraction obtained from liposuction. In another related treatment, adipose or “fat” tissue can also be obtained directly from the patient through a mini-liposuction style procedure.
